Motorbikes Take Center Stage
The biggest new feature in 1.30 Experimental is the introduction of two-wheeled vehicles. Players can now ride the Jana 50 moped and the Bitrak 682 enduro, complete with multiple color variants and customizable plates on the enduro.
Both bikes feature a brand-new two-wheeled physics simulation with realistic leaning, along with ragdoll physics for crashes. Note that you won’t see your own ragdoll animation if you crash (you’ll go unconscious), but other players will.
Special “Many Motorbikes” servers are also available so survivors can thoroughly test the new vehicles.

Other Key Changes
- Improved UI consistency across more than 150 icons
- Updated base building interface that now shows required materials
- Animated combination locks
- Improved infected attack animations that better match the player’s position
- New color variants for several weapons (Mosin, SKS, CR-527, Glock)
- New player actions such as wetting clothing and washing your face
- Numerous bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements

Looking Ahead to Badlands
While the new desert map Nasdara is not part of the Experimental build, Update 1.30 serves as the bridge to the full DayZ Badlands expansion, which is scheduled to release in just four weeks on October 15.
Character and server wipes are expected both at the start of Experimental and again when Badlands goes live.
Jump into Experimental now, test the motorbikes, and get ready Badlands is almost here.
